Treatment plants receive awards

Congratulations to the Decatur Utilities Water Resources team for being presented with several awards at the Alabama Water Pollution Control Association annual meeting. DU's Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant received an Award of Recognition for operational year 2025; The DU Water Treatment Plant received the 2025 Best Operated Plant Award (Distribution System 25-50k meters) and 2025 Award of Excellence (Surface Water Plant >60 MGD.
