When paying at a Moneygram location, you must have the following information with you:

- Enough cash for your payment amount plus a $1.99 MoneyGram fee

- Your Decatur Utilities account number. (Click here for help finding your DU account number)

- Receive Code: 13904 (Decatur Utilities payment code)


Complete the blue Moneygram form to complete your transaction. Payment processes may vary depending on the location you use. Simply as an associate for help.

Pay at a Self Service Kiosk:
There are three self-service kiosks for your convenience. One is located in the front parking lot of the main office lobby at 1002 Central Parkway SW Decatur. A second kiosk is located inside the main lobby and the third is at the north end of the building where the old night deposit was located.
Check, cash or credit/debit cards accepted. Make payable to Decatur Utilities.
Money orders are NOT accepted by the kiosk
No change is provided on cash transactions. The entire amount will be credited to your account.
Payments made at the self-service kisok are automatically posted to your account.
No transaction fee for cash or check payments.
$3.95 convenience fee is charged for credit or debit card payments (per each $600 transaction.) 

Pay online:
Decatur Utilities offers residential and small commercial customers the option of payment online. (If you are large commercial account, please call us at 256-552-1400 for other payment options.)
You may pay online using checking account, debit/credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card.
This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There is a third-party $3.95 processing and handling fee for each $600 transaction. DU does not receive any part of this fee.
Information you will need to make an online payment:
- Your DU account number. (Click here for help finding your account number)
- The balance owned on your bill
- Your credit card number or check routing information
- A valid e-mail address where you can receive a confirmation receipt

Pay by Bank Draft:

Bank Draft is a convenient way to pay your monthly DU bill. Automatic payments can be deducted from your checking or savings account. Print the bank draft form, complete it and send to us by fax to 256-552-1416, email to customer service, or mail to the PO Box above. Or you may come by the Main Office on Central Parkway and complete the form in person.
