No lobby payments until further notice

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the Decatur/Morgan County area, Decatur Utilities will close its lobby to in-person payments beginning Monday, Nov. 2nd until further notice.

This precautionary measure is made with the health and safety of both DU’s customers and employees in mind. DU management will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions.

Customers may continue to make payments using the drive-thru lanes during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Customers may also continue to make individual in-person appointments for Customer Service by calling 256-552-1400 Opt. 4, or at www.decaturutilities.com and clicking the “Schedule Appointment” link.

Customers may also start, stop or transfer utility service remotely by calling 256-552-1400 Opt. 4 or emailing csr@decaturutilities.com.

DU reminds customers that there is NO FEE charged when using credit/debit cards via our no-contact payment methods.
