Decatur Utilities is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Environmental Engineer – Water and Wastewater

 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering with primary experience in water and wastewater treatment and environmental/regulatory standards and reporting. Scope of work will include providing technical support to water and wastewater treatment plants, coordinating wastewater pre-treatment program and maintaining contact with major industrial customers. Salary range is $49,540 to $73,815 depending on regulatory experience. A residency restriction applies. Excellent benefits including Retirement System of Alabama.
